Utah County Real Estate

Utah County Real Estate is among the fastest growing area in the Nation. Utah County is the second most populous county in Utah, and is just south of Salt Lake County.

Provo, is at the heart of Utah County. It is the County seat and home of Brigham Young University. Utah County is unique in that it has a very large population of students, many of whom are from out of state. Utah Valley State University in Orem is also nearby.

Utah County is quickly growing, in large part because many of the out of state students stick around the Provo area after graduation.

The Utah County real estate market was most effected by the housing boom. It has also seen the hardest recovery, and currently about one in four listed homes in Utah County is under water and requires a short sale in order to sell. This fact makes purchasing Real Estate in Utah County a little more difficult, as short sale transactions take a lot more patience.
